Construction update - June 2025
It’s the first year of Dunluce Neighbourhood and Alley Renewal and we are scheduled to start in July 2025. This year, the majority of construction will take place in the back alleys. Please view this scope map to see the 2025 construction areas.
The City of Edmonton and EPCOR are also working together to construct Low Impact Development (LID), which will help with stormwater retention and help mitigate flooding.

For those living in the construction area, please watch your mailbox for construction bulletins from the City and the contractor. The City bulletin includes details on scope of work, what to expect during construction and landscaping and access impacts. The contractor bulletin will outline dates around alley closures.
While your alley is under construction it will be fully closed for approximately four weeks to facilitate the work (weather dependent). Access will not be permitted within the alley during this time. Emergency access will be maintained.
All residents and business owners are asked to access their homes and businesses through the front entrances and park vehicles on nearby streets or avenues during the alley closure.
There are no designated parking stalls permitted on the front street. If you have special access requirements, such as (DATS), please contact the Project Manager to coordinate access.
Construction in Dunluce is scheduled to begin in summer 2025 and is expected to take five years (planned completion 2029).
We commit to using your feedback to inform communication during construction.
