Alberta Avenue (AA) has access to funding in 2023 and 2024 to advance their neighbourhood goals. The AA District Council defined 5 goals in their 2020 strategic planning:
The Avenue Initiative is Edmonton’s pioneer neighbourhood revitalization project. Council approved the strategy in 2005 and implementation began in 2006. The Avenue Initiative is a community-led, city supported revitalization project that is working to transform this historic area, improving both its social and physical aspects.

Residents, local organizations and businesses can access program funding for community-led initiatives through the: Revitalization Micro-Grants, Revitalization Project Macro-Grants and Revitalization Extensive Project Fund.
