Damaged or missing cart? Fill out our online form to request a cart repair, size exchange, or report a lost or stolen cart.
Please note: this form is for curbside carts only. If you live in an apartment or condo, please have your property manager contact Waste Customer Support at 780-496-5698 to report a damaged or missing cart.
Submit a cart repair request for the following types of damage:
Repairs are generally completed within 5 business days of your request. Repairs are free when resulting from normal wear and tear, or an incident beyond your control.
Submit a cart exchange request to:
Cart exchanges are generally completed within 5 business days of your request. Your first exchange is free. Afterwards, an $18.50 administrative fee will be applied.
Utility rates are based on garbage cart size. Your rate change will take effect on the day you receive your new cart.
Submit a report for a lost or stolen cart. It generally takes 5 business days to replace or reunite you with your cart. Replacement is free, but recurring lost or stolen cart reports may result in an investigation and service fees.
If you find your cart after reporting it lost or stolen, let us know so we can cancel your request. Contact wastesupport@edmonton.ca.

If you find a lost cart that doesn’t belong to you, please report it by calling 311 or contacting wastesupport@edmonton.ca.
If your City-provided pail is damaged from normal household use, bring it to an Eco Station or to the Reuse Centre and we’ll exchange it for free.

If your cart is inaccessible or unsafe to work on, your work will be rescheduled. A fee of $18.50 may be applied to your utility bill for missed service.
