17 Street Bridges over Yellowhead Trail will be replaced. Construction will begin in late 2025.
The two bridges along 17 Street over Yellowhead Trail have reached the end of their service life and need to be replaced.
The scope of this project includes:
- Replacement of both northbound and southbound bridges
- Repaving along 17 Street between 116 Avenue NW to Hayter Road NW
- Construction of temporary crossovers on Yellowhead Trail (to accommodate construction)
Planning and design is currently underway, with construction anticipated for 2026.
