Project Update -November 2025

Rehabilitation work on the Beverly Bridge is underway. Rehabilitation will take approximately two construction seasons and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Construction work will be done in two phases to minimize traffic impacts.

Stage 1 began in 2025 on the south side of the bridge. Construction was completed in November 2025 and included:

  • Concrete bridge deck repair
  • Waterproofing
  • Deck paving
  • Bridge girder, bearing and abutment repair
  • Upgraded street lighting

The bridge has now reopened to 3 lanes of traffic for the winter season.

Stage 2 starts in 2026 and includes work on the north side of the bridge. The bridge will be temporarily reduced to two lanes while this work is underway. Pedestrian access to the trail under the bridge will remain open during construction. To ensure the safety of pedestrians, hoarding will be installed during overhead work.
