Rehabilitation work on the Beverly Bridge is scheduled to begin in 2025. This project will extend the bridge’s lifespan and improve safety for all users.
Project Information
Rehabilitation construction on the Beverly Bridge will begin in 2025 to extend its life and enhance safety. The rehabilitation will include repairs to the concrete deck and steel girders, new pavement and traffic barriers, and miscellaneous other minor repair work on the bridge and approach roadway.
Construction work will include:
- The bridge will be reduced to two lanes during construction, which is planned to take place from spring 2025 to fall 2026.
- The work will be completed in two stages with Stage 1 occurring in 2025 and Stage 2 in 2026.
- It is expected that the bridge will be reopened to three lanes of traffic over the 2025/2026 winter.
