Construction Update - July 2025
The second year of Beverly Heights Alley Renewal is underway. Work will consist of removing the existing road structure, placing a new gravel base, conducting minor concrete replacement and installing new asphalt pavement.
This scope map shows the numbered construction areas as well as the proposed yearly phasing of work.
Alley construction is complete with landscaping to be finished in:
- Section 36
- Section 43
- Section 44
- Section 33
- Section 32
- Section 31
- Section 30
Construction is ongoing in:
- Section 29
- Section 28
- Section 46
- Section 50
For those who live in the 2024 construction areas, the outstanding road deficiency work is scheduled to start at the same time as this year’s construction.

Alley Renewal in Beverly Heights is progressing on time and on budget.
Garbage and Recycle Collection
While your alley is closed for construction, waste cart collection will occur from your front street or avenue. Residents are asked to temporarily relocate carts and recycle bags to the front of your property during alley closures for pick-up on collection days. Carts and bags should be placed in a visible location along the curb or back of the sidewalk, at which point collection workers will manoeuver carts so they can be emptied.
We recommend you identify your home address in the space provided on the carts to ensure your assigned carts are returned to your home after collection.
