2024 construction began in June and was finished the last week of September. The 2024 construction season was a success and we completed all planned construction.
Alley Renewal work will resume in the Beverly Heights neighbourhood in the first week of May 2025, weather permitting. The planned scope for 2025 will include reconstruction of alleys between 50 Street to 38 Street south of 114 Avenue to Ada Boulevard. Garbage and Recycle Collection
While your alley is closed for construction, waste cart collection will occur from your front street or avenue. Residents are asked to temporarily relocate carts and recycle bags to the front of your property during alley closures for pick-up on collection days. Carts and bags should be placed in a visible location along the curb or back of the sidewalk, at which point collection workers will manoeuver carts so they can be emptied.
We recommend you identify your home address in the space provided on the carts to ensure your assigned carts are returned to your home after collection.
