Neighbourhood Renewal construction in Hillview has wrapped up for the 2025 construction season!
2025 construction began in May and was finished the third week of October. The 2025 construction season was a success and we completed all planned construction including the reconstruction of the alleys throughout the community, along with underground infrastructure work and any adjacent concrete flatwork and landscaping.
Neighbourhood Renewal work will resume in the Hillview Neighbourhood in the spring of 2026, weather permitting. The planned scope for 2026 will include construction on the front streets. Construction phasing will be shared in the spring. Prior to work resuming, construction notifications will be delivered to impacted residences.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we completed another successful year of neighbourhood renewal construction. Construction in the Hillview Neighbourhood began in spring 2025 and is expected to take 3 years (fall 2027).

Alley P6: the ATCO line relocation is complete. The alley renewal is underway.
August 2025
Paving and landscaping complete in Projects 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8.
Paving and landscaping in the remainder of phases to be completed by early September.
June 2025
This map numbers the alley projects. Construction is underway in Projects 1 and 2. Project 3 is planned for construction next.
