New Year's Eve City Hall Parkade Closure

On December 31, 2024, the City Hall Parkade will be closed at 4pm because it is a designated fire safety zone for the New Year’s Eve fireworks.

Alternate parking will be available at the Canada Place and Library parkades, or on-street.

Regular City Hall parkade operating hours will resume January 1, 2025.

Information on parking rates for on-street and off-street parking, including hourly, daily, and monthly rates. Visitors can also find information on the hours of operation for each parking facility, as well as any special events or holidays that may affect parking availability.

Event Night Parking Rates

5-10pm	$3.50/hr (Maximum 5-hour parking duration) $4.50/hr at Rice Howard Way, 103 Street between 102 Avenue and 103 Avenue, 104 Street between Jasper Avenue and 104 Avenue

Event night parking rates are in effect when there is a major event at Rogers Place. Rates apply to stalls from 97 Street to 109 Street and Jasper Avenue to 107 Avenue.

Accessible Drop-Off Zone
Use the accessible drop-off zone along the north side of 104 Avenue and the west side of 102 Street, north of 104 Avenue.

There are some exceptions to event night parking rates and these include:

City Hall, Canada Place and Library Parkades
Rice Howard Way **
104 Street - from Jasper Avenue to 104 Avenue **
103 Street - from 102 to 103 Avenue **

** These locations have a 2-hour maximum in effect and vehicles must be moved after 2 hours.

To access your vehicle in the parkade after hours, please use the pedestrian door on the southeast side of the City Hall building
No access into parkade from pedway; public can exit from parkade to pedway
No refunds or “in and out” privileges
Maximum heights - P1 and P2 - 8' 5" or 2.56 metres | P3, P4 and P5 - 6' 10" or 2.08 metres
