Public Engagement History

Public input has played an essential role in shaping the Valley Line LRT, from the identification of the corridor in 2009, through the development of the concept plan, to the completion of preliminary design in 2013. The public was also consulted on the refinements to the preliminary design through engagement throughout 2017 and 2018. Thousands of Edmontonians have been engaged through meetings, presentations, open houses and online over the course of the project.

The City and MIP continue to engage with numerous stakeholders along the Valley Line West alignment and will continue to do so throughout the duration of construction.
