Public engagement is now complete for the Sharing Draft Design phase. The project team is creating the final design and the What We Decided Report that reflects City policies, technical considerations and What We Heard.
Public engagement for the evaluation phase is complete. The feedback and collected traffic data will be included in the Evaluation Report, to be released in late summer/fall 2025.
The project team will use this information along with City design standards, federal/provincial transportation infrastructure legislation and engineering technical expertise to determine if any additional measures need to be added or adjusted to further encourage speed compliance and safer driving behaviours.

An evaluation phase is planned for spring 2025. During the Evaluation phase of the project, Edmontonians will have an opportunity to share their lived experiences travelling in the project area since the adaptable measures have been installed.

The final design and What We Decided Report are now available. These documents show adaptable measures that will be installed in the project area based on City policy, technical considerations and What We Heard.
Installation of adaptable measures is targeted to begin in August and continue throughout the construction season, weather dependent. After the installation, there will be a period for residents to adjust to the changes while the City collects traffic data and feedback through 311 to assess if adjustments are needed.
