Edmonton Transit provides service within the city boundaries as well as limited service throughout some of the regional communities. Service is also provided to the Edmonton International Airport.

While ETS riders can use Arc to pay their fare on Beaumont, Spruce Grove, St. Albert or Strathcona County buses within Edmonton, only fares paid on ETS buses (including DATS) and LRT contribute towards ETS daily, monthly or annual fare caps. If an ETS rider taps both on and off within Edmonton city limits using one of these regional buses, and if they have not reached the ETS monthly fare cap, they will be charged $2.75 per trip and that will contribute towards that regional municipality’s fare cap.
If an ETS rider has not reached the ETS fare cap and travels on a regional bus to an area outside of Edmonton, they will be charged a commuter rate for that regional service. The fare paid will contribute towards the fare cap for that regional service. Once ETS riders reach the ETS monthly fare cap, they are not charged for travel on any regional commuter or local buses throughout the full region, both within and outside Edmonton city limits.
Please note: Leduc Transit buses currently do not have Arc validators.
Arc period passes such as student school board program (excluding U-Pass), PATH, ETS@work, and senior low-income annual pass, as well as the senior annual cap are only applicable on ETS routes.

Please note the surcharges identified below only apply for pre-purchased ETS paper fare products and regional fare products. There are no regional surcharges associated with Arc cards or tickets.
For post-secondary students who reside outside of Edmonton city limits, the following regional services provide unlimited transit to students with a valid U-Pass:
Arc youth period passes supplied by the Edmonton Public School Board or Edmonton Catholic School board are only valid on ETS routes. These passes are not valid fare on any regional bus service. However, some regional services provide discounted youth passes through their local school boards.
Pre-purchased ETS paper tickets, transfers and Family/Day passes are valid fare on St. Albert and Strathcona County buses, with applicable surcharges, until December 31, 2025. Please reference the information below to learn more about these products.
Pre-purchased ETS paper tickets, transfers and Family/Day passes are not valid fare on the following regional services:
Regular ETS fare will be required to transfer between these regional services and ETS buses/LRT.
The City of St. Albert operates local bus service within the City of St. Albert and commuter bus service to and from various locations within the City of Edmonton.
St. Albert Transit fare products on ETS Service
Commuter passes, tickets and valid transfers are accepted on ETS.
However, St. Albert Local passes, tickets and transfers are not valid on ETS service.

Strathcona County operates local bus service within Sherwood Park and regional bus service within Strathcona County and the City of Edmonton.

Valid Commuter transfers are accepted on ETS buses and LRT. Local transfers are not valid on ETS service.
Please note: All pre-purchased Strathcona Local and Commuter paper passes and tickets are now expired and not accepted for travel.

Pre-purchased ETS paper tickets, transfers and Family/Day passes are valid on Strathcona service travelling within Edmonton with the payment of a $1 surcharge.

Beaumont Transit offers service between Mill Woods Transit Centre in Edmonton and the Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre in Beaumont.

Route #: 600 | Days of Operation: Monday-Friday, peak hours only
Route 600 connects passengers to the Bethel Transit Terminal in Sherwood Park, where transfers can be made to routes travelling within Sherwood Park and into Edmonton. This route is operated by Strathcona County Transit buses.

The City of Leduc, in cooperation with Leduc County, operates local bus service as well as a regional service connecting The City of Leduc and Leduc County to Century Park in Edmonton.

ETS provides commuter service between Spruce Grove and Edmonton, under contract with the City of Spruce Grove. Buses travel through the community, stopping at a number of bus stops and travel express between Spruce Grove and Edmonton.
Please note these buses do not have bike racks. Bikes are not permitted on regional routes operating on highways outside of Edmonton due to safety concerns with the bike rack equipment.

As part of our support for regional travel, Edmonton Transit Service facilitates access for private charter buses (Canada Bus, Rider Express and Flixbus) at ETS LRT stations and transit centres. This helps to support travel between regional transit services and inter-regional services offered by these companies.
FlixBus, Canada Bus and Rider Express buses pick up and drop-off riders using Bus Stop #22180 on 111 Street southbound, across the street from Southgate Transit Centre.
At Belvedere Transit Centre, FlixBus stops at Bus Stop #7211 (Bay L).
Rider Express buses also serve Kingsway/Royal Alex Transit Centre using Bus Stop #1109 (Bay B).
