Running 7 days a week, Route 747 is Edmonton Transit’s direct service from Century Park Transit Centre to the Edmonton International Airport.

As a regional service, Route 747 operates under the authority of both the Province of Alberta and the City of Edmonton.

ETS paper tickets and passes, including the EIA Airport monthly pass, are no longer available for purchase. The EIA Airport monthly pass is now a regional monthly fare cap on Arc cards. Switch to Arc today at myArc.ca!

The Route 747 bus service runs 7 days a week from 4:10am - 12:30am with 30 to 60 minute intervals.

To and From the Airport

Buses travel directly from the Century Park Transit Centre to the Edmonton International Airport and return.

Departing the airport from Door 8, Route 747 stops at the Premium Outlet Collection Mall and Costco before returning to the Century Park Transit Centre.

Parking

Please note that paid parking at Century Park is limited to a maximum of 24 hours. You are encouraged to take transit to Century Park or get dropped off.

Fares

The following fare products are accepted on Route 747:

  • Arc
    • $5 Arc card pay-as-you-go flat rate (90-minute trip)
    • $5 Arc ticket (90-minute airport ticket)
    • $90 Arc card airport monthly fare cap*
  • $5 cash per 1-way fare and does not include transfers. Applies to all passengers (adults, children, youth, seniors)
  • Leduc Transit Commuter Plus Pass
  • Special Route 747 transfer issued by Leduc Transit or ETS
  • CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) ID cards
  • U-Pass
  • 2 ETS Adult paper tickets will be accepted until the end of 2025 (machine validated tickets not accepted)

* The Edmonton fare cap does not contribute to the Airport fare cap, so riders will continue contributing to both fare types until they reach the $90 airport fare cap. Once the airport fare cap of $90 is hit, riders will ride within Edmonton for free.

At The Airport

Riders can buy fare products 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at the "Parking and Ground Transportation" counter between doors 5 and 7.

Luggage Guidelines

There is no luggage* limit per passenger, however, to ensure a safe and comfortable experience, please follow these guidelines:

  • Space for luggage is first come/first served. Passengers already on board with their luggage are not required to move their luggage to accommodate additional passengers.
  • All luggage must be placed in the luggage racks provided or on the floor in front of the seat. No luggage is allowed in the aisle.
  • Provincial requirements dictate that the operator will not move the bus if there is passenger luggage in the aisle.
  • Be considerate or other riders and when possible put personal belongings on your lap.
  • Passengers are responsible for handling their own luggage. Bus operators are not required to assist passengers with their luggage.
  • Edmonton Transit Service is not responsible for lost or damaged passenger luggage. Call 780-496-1622, prompt 1 for ETS Lost & Found.
  • Should you notice a suspicious package at Century Park Transit Centre or on the bus please notify the bus operator or call Transit Watch at 780-442-4900.

*Passenger luggage includes suitcases, backpacks, boxes, bags and any other carrying device for the transport of personal belongings.

Animals & Large Items

Animals are allowed on Route 747 buses, if they are in an airline approved carrier.

Passengers travelling with large carriers or packages must place them in the luggage racks, on the seats or on the floor in front of the seats.

No carriers or packages are allowed in the aisle. There is a yellow line that shows where larger packages cannot be placed.

Note: Bicycles are not allowed on Route 747 buses.

What does the inside of Route 747 buses look like?

The interior of Route 747 buses is similar to other ETS buses you see within the city. The differences are the exterior bus wrap on the buses and the 3 seats across from the back exit of the bus have been replaced with luggage racks. The racks are approximately the same length as the 3 seats they replace. The luggage rack on each bus has 2 shelves.

Riders have the following options:
