This event brings together public purchasing organizations (purchasers) and Indigenous and diverse suppliers as part of our commitment to bring positive environmental, social and economic outcomes within our open, fair and transparent procurement processes.

Suppliers: Who's Invited
The City invites all diverse-owned suppliers (business that is majority owned, managed and controlled by individuals who identify as an equity-deserving group) and suppliers that create social value in Edmonton to come and meet public sector purchasers. This includes:

- Other suppliers who are looking to subcontract work to diverse and social value suppliers
Does your organization want to leverage your purchasing power? Do you want to maximize the value and benefits of your spending?
Public purchasing organizations, including City of Edmonton departments and neighbouring municipalities will host purchaser booths for promoting opportunities to businesses and employment service organizations that may not currently be on their radar.
Purchasers will be able to advertise the types of goods and services their organization sources, announce bid opportunities for the coming year and clarify their purchasing requirements.
Apply for a booth
We welcome as many public organizations as possible to host purchaser booths, but space may be limited.
- Purchaser booths will be open for approximately 3 hours.
- We recommend 1-2 people at your booth to represent your organization.

Sustainable Procurement Policy
The Sustainable Procurement Policy - C556C provides a framework for our purchasing activities in order to create intentional positive environmental, social, and economic impacts, while maintaining open, fair and transparent procurement processes.
This includes implementing a variety of tactics and tools, including: Low Value Purchase Guidelines, Sustainable Procurement Menu, Community Benefits Framework and Indigenous Set Asides.
