Purchase with Purpose includes free parking for all attendees. When you arrive at the venue, please park on the north side of the building, near Entrance 5. Please register your license plate to receive free event parking.

The City invites all diverse-owned suppliers (business that is majority owned, managed and controlled by individuals who identify as an equity-deserving group) and suppliers that create social value in Edmonton to come and meet public sector purchasers. This includes:

The 2024 event included purchasers from: City of Edmonton, Explore Edmonton, other municipalities in the greater Edmonton area and post-secondary institutions. 

Sustainable Procurement Policy

The Sustainable Procurement Policy - C556C provides a framework for our purchasing activities in order to create intentional positive environmental, social, and economic impacts, while maintaining open, fair and transparent procurement processes. 

This includes implementing a variety of tactics and tools, including: Low Value Purchase Guidelines, Sustainable Procurement Menu, Community Benefits Framework and Indigenous Set Asides.
