Join us at the Edmonton Valley Zoo as we welcome back migratory birds and all our warm-weather-loving families - both animal and human!

Discover the fascinating world of migratory birds from our knowledgeable staff. You’ll also get the chance to meet one of our feathered friends up close with a raptor talk.
Our extended summer hours begin this weekend, so you’ll have plenty of time to meet our animal families here at the zoo and watch as they get special enrichment treats throughout the day. Be sure to check out all the fun games and activities throughout the zoo!

General admission applies to all events. All activities are free with general admission. Annual Zoo Membership Passes and Leisure Access Passes can be used for events that occur during regular operating hours.
The Valley Zoo Development Society, our non-profit society, also runs evening fundraising events at Edmonton Valley Zoo. These events, such as ZooFest, the Zoolander Fashion Show, Zoo Brew and Zoominescence, are coordinated through the Valley Zoo Development Society.
