The City of Edmonton is proud of its vast parkland and works hard to maintain its biodiversity. Through care and proper preservation practices, it can continue to be enjoyed by all.
Service levels for each type of inventory are displayed below. These are the current service delivery levels as presented in the Aligning Turf and Horticulture Resources and Service Levels Council Report (CO02130) on January 15, 2024, based on current resources. Administration has been asked to bring forward a service package request in fall 2024 to request resources that would allow crews to meet target service levels, with options to enhance service levels. Additionally, throughout 2024 the City will be evaluating its turf and horticulture inventory and service levels with the aim of making adjustments in order to more effectively maintain the landscape with existing resources.
