The City of Edmonton continues to provide refunds, when validated, to EPark customers who have requested them. Please note, providing refunds from the previous MyEpark app is taking longer than other refund requests due to the volume and the time it takes to collect information from applicants, if necessary, and issue cheques.
Parking Services - EPark Refund Policy
City of Edmonton - Parking Services reserves the right to deny any refund request.
Funds over $25 from deactivated MyEPark accounts have been transferred over to HotSpot and will be available as a parking credit. All users who had funds transferred have received an email with instructions to set up their accounts. You must have a HotSpot account to use the parking credit.
- Make sure to use the email address associated with your former MyEPark account
- If you already have a HotSpot account, make sure the location setting in your account is set to Edmonton for the parking credit to appear
- If you do not have a HotSpot account, you can open one by downloading the app or visiting HotSpot, choose New User?
If you do not see a parking credit or have other difficulties opening or managing a HotSpot account, contact them by email at support@htsp.ca or call 1-855-712-5888.
- Requests for refunds must be made through the Refund Request form below
- Please contact 311 if you require assistance in completing the form
- EPark pay machine coin refunds will be provided in the form of a pay code that can be entered into the EPark pay machine
- Refunds for credit card payments originally made at an EPark machine will be processed back to the original credit card
- Refund requests are being processed for users who had less than $25 in their deactivated account as of April 29, 2024
- A refund request only needs to be submitted once; the request remains open until the refund is issued
- The time to process a refund request may take longer as account information and payment methods need to be verified for each request, and requests with transactions that are over two years old and/or have expired credit cards will require refunds to be issued by cheque through regular mail
- Users who require account activity reports can use the Request an EPark Refund form, which enables them to enter a phone number, licence number and/or user ID that can be used to find their account and fulfill their request
