Northern Lights is surrounded by oak trees and features a Chinese pavilion and a Wall of Remembrance in memory of our military veterans.
Northern Lights Cemetery is one of the City's two Premier Cemeteries, with a focus on growth and an expansion plan which spans the next 40 years.
This North Edmonton cemetery was unofficially known as Sturgeon Cemetery before being named Sturgeon Heights Memorial Park in 1986. A year later it was renamed Northern Lights Cemetery. The City of Edmonton has owned the land since 1972.
