Northern Lights Cemetery, one of the City’s two premier cemeteries, is located in northwest Edmonton and was established in 1972. It is characterized by ample space and a carefully planned 40-year expansion to accommodate the growing community's future needs.

The cemetery park contains a distinctly designed cultural area, which reflects the diversity of Edmonton and the surrounding communities. Additionally, the Wall of Remembrance is a poignant tribute to our military veterans. It honours their sacrifices with a place for reflection and remembrance. The cemetery is also home to the City’s first Green Burial parkland. This premier feature emphasizes a commitment to offering an environmentally sustainable option in honouring loved ones.
