The City of Edmonton’s Animal Care and Control Centre is hosting its pet food drive for the Edmonton Food Bank in an effort to help those families with pets in need.
In 2023, the Animal Care and Control Centre launched its PAWS for a CAUSE Pet Food Drive in support of the Edmonton’s Food Bank. The goal was to ease the financial burden many Edmontonians were facing, often making difficult decisions of whether to put food on the table for their family or in the bowl for their pet.
2024 Collection Insights
Last year, our pet food drive collected over 8,000 kilograms of pet food and supplies for those in need last holiday season and served as a very clear sign the campaign needed to continue.
