Located in the historic Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre, the City of Edmonton Archives is a public research facility housing civic government and private records of enduring significance that document Edmonton's history.
The City of Edmonton Archives houses records created by the City of Edmonton, as well as some of its agencies, boards, and commissions. These records contain material that is protected in alignment with the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), and some material may be restricted in alignment with these Acts.
