Intimate Wedding Ceremony

Imagine exchanging your vows in our Feature Pyramid surrounded by such flowers as Cyclamens, Tulips, Hydrangeas, Chrysanthemums or Poinsettias. Have your pictures taken in the Tropical Pyramid using the tranquil waterfall as your backdrop. With four different pyramids to choose from there is sure to be something for everyone.

Rates and Availability

Monday or Tuesday Evening Photo Sessions (6-10pm)

After hours; exclusive use

Rates

$255 / 60-minute sessions
$460 / 90-minute sessions

Friday, Saturday or Sunday - 60-Minute Photo/Ceremony Sessions (4-5pm)

Exclusive (private) use: 4-4:30pm
Non-Exclusive use: 4:30-5pm

Rate: $550 / 60-minute session

Evening sessions will begin at 6pm and will be booked consecutively in the order they are received.

Rates include use of a signing table and chair, and a host.

Guidelines: Photo/Ceremony Sessions

Guests should be instructed not to arrive prior to the start time.
You are responsible for finding your own marriage officiant to perform the ceremony, as well as photographer.
We will provide you with a signing table, table cloth and chair.
Chairs are not provided or permitted in the pyramids. A few chairs are available for those who cannot stand throughout the ceremony.
Rose petals, confetti, bird seed, bubbles and balloons are not permitted inside or outside.
Your photographer may want to bring in additional lighting if your session is late in the day in late fall or winter.

Evening Receptions and Banquets

Room Rental: Centre Court

Time Available: 6:30pm-1am Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays

Reception and Banquet Fee: $1,800
Free Parking Available: 85 vehicles (approximately)

Rental package includes:

Guest access to the 4 pyramids until midnight
Use of the outdoor patio until 9pm
An adjacent area for dancing
Custom set up of 5' round tables and chairs (linens are not provided)
Use of a wooden podium
Use of wireless microphone and sound system
Pre- and post-custodial services
Muttart hosts on site throughout the evening

Event planners can arrive at 6pm to begin decor set up in the Centre Court. All items brought in must be completely removed by 1am.

Catering

All food and beverage are managed by our exclusive in-house caterer, Cafe Bloom. Please visit their website at cafebloom.ca or contact them directly at events@cafebloom.ca.

Outside catering is not permitted.

SOCAN and Re:Sound

If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we use a caterer or of our choice, or bring in our own food?

No, Cafe Bloom is the exclusive onsite caterer at Muttart Conservatory.

Where do our guests park?

Guest parking is available in the designated parking areas on the north side of the facility. Guests are required to register their vehicle license plate numbers with the front counter staff upon arrival.

What time do the pyramids close?

The pyramids close at midnight.

Can alcohol be served / consumed at my event?

All aspects of the sale and service of alcohol will be coordinated through Cafe Bloom.

Alcohol service must finish one hour before the end time of the event.

The consumption of food and beverages is not permitted in the pyramids.

Where do we access the facility for setup and delivery of items for our event?

Please contact the facility representative to discuss and confirm delivery and set up arrangements in advance of your event.

Only equipment and set up arranged with the facility representative will be provided.

Can we provide our own decorations for our event?

Décor items are allowed with these requirements:

Décor items cannot be affixed to walls, murals, artifacts, doors, fixtures, overhead beams, or windows without prior discussion and approval from the facility representative.
Fog machines are not permitted.
Dance floor wax, rose petals, rice, birdseed and confetti of any type, are not permitted within the facility.
Balloons of any type and animal entertainment acts are not permitted as decoration or entertainment at the facility.
Open flame candles are not permitted in the facility unless they have a minimum of 2 inches of glass higher than the flame.
