Three funding grants are available through the Revitalization Grants Stream:
Revitalization Micro-Grant (up to $500)
This grant supports small, local (such as, block-level) projects and events. Eligible projects may involve fewer residents but still must contribute to the achievement of one of the Neighbourhood Services Funding Program outcomes. This grant can include the outcome of Supporting local economic investment.
Revitalization Project Macro-Grant ($501-$20,000)
This grant supports new opportunities and activities in Revitalization Areas that align with the goals of neighbourhood revitalization for each eligible community involved with the City of Edmonton Neighbourhood Revitalization Initiative.
Revitalization Extensive Project Funding (REPF) ($20,001-$50,000)
This grant offers organizations the opportunity to apply for funding for larger-scale projects in Revitalization Areas and is subject to budget availability. The Extensive Project Fund is guided by core criteria that will ensure that grant resources are used efficiently and effectively and are aligned with Revitalization objectives. Core Criteria includes:
- Beauty, Safety, Security
- Thriving Local Economy Investment
- Strengthening Capacity and Inclusion
The REPF also includes a secondary criteria component. Each Revitalization area has goals created with local partners and community members to set out for the success of the Revitalization Strategy. Applicants will need to meet both the core criteria and specific secondary criteria defined in each area's unique revitalization strategy. Note: You must be in one of the following Revitalization Neighbourhoods which include Balwin & Belvedere, Central McDougall/Queen Mary Park, Inglewood or McCauley to be eligible.
