The City of Edmonton is hosting the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR) Gathering: The Strength in Our Stories on January 9 and 10, 2025.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the issues and solutions surrounding Missing And Murdered Indigenous Relatives (MMIR). Those in attendance will hear from a variety of speakers and panellists, from the Edmonton region and across Canada, on important topics like economic resilience, intergenerational joy and the role of cities in addressing this issue.

The MMIR Gathering is sold out. Those interested are still encouraged to attend the round dance on the evening of January 10.

Round Dance

The event will conclude with a round dance, in partnership with Creating Hope Society, on the evening of January 10, 2025.
