The Municipal Government Act authorizes cities such as Edmonton to create and enforce bylaws to maintain the health, safety, and wellness of the community.
Edmonton's bylaws are enacted by City Council and maintained by the Office of the City Clerk. The Office of the City Clerk is available to clarify information, if needed.
Pay your bylaw offense ticket on or before the due date online.
Illegal Parking Complaints can now be submitted online.
Submit a complaint for several bylaw violations which may be affecting you.
Users will require, at a minimum, to find a signed bylaw on an agenda or meeting: the date and meeting at which the bylaw was passed (such as, December 5, 2017, City Council meeting). Having the bylaw number and/or title will make it easier for the user to find the agenda item to which the signed bylaw is linked.

Official bylaws, available from the Office of the City Clerk, must be consulted for the purposes of interpreting and applying the law. This consolidation does not contain maps, charts and graphs contained in printed versions.
