Book your birthday party with the City Arts Centre and explore your creative side with friends and family!

Does your child love to move and dance? If so, we have the perfect dance party package for you. Spend one hour moving and learning new dance moves to the birthday guests' favourite music. Have fun learning choreography provided by a qualified dance instructor. Showcase your dance with a mini performance

Program Length: 1 hour plus 1 hour room rental ($225)

Recommended Age: This party is best for participants ages 4-12 years

Maximum Party Size: 20 party participants and 2 adults
Party room maximum group size is 25 people, including parents and siblings

Clay Party (Ages 6-12)

Book your birthday with the City Arts Centre and every participant will build their own clay project. Then it's time for cake and presents! Party guests will hand build a bowl with a choice of glazes to decorate the pottery they create.

Program Length: 1.5 hours plus 1 hour room rental ($295)

Recommended Age: This party is best for participants ages 6-12 years

Maximum Party Size: 12 party participants and 2 adults
Party room maximum group size of 24 people including parents and siblings

Painting Party (Ages 6-14)

Paint and get creative on your birthday. Every participant will paint their own canvas tote bag, then it's time for cake and presents! Choose a theme; butterfly, tropical fish or abstract to paint on a canvas tote to take home. These totes are great for library books, skates or gym shoes. Spend one hour learning new painting techniques provided by a qualified art instructor.

Program Length: 1 hour plus 1 hour room rental ($225)

Party room maximum group size of 20 people including parents and siblings

Muffin Decorating Party (Ages 7-15)

Book a party with City Arts Centre filled with sprinkles, buttercream icing and edible cupcakes you and your guests can learn to decorate. We provide all the ingredients for an amazing party including cupcakes, decorating supplies and cupcake boxes. Each guest leaves with four decorated cupcakes. Become a culinary connoisseur in this themed cupcake decorating party.

Birthday parties are available year round, but space is limited. Parties must be booked at least 4 weeks in advance. Book early to avoid disappointment! Payment for the program must be made at the time of booking.

Program Cancellation

You are required to provide written notice of cancellation of the birthday party via email at artsattractionsbookings@edmonton.ca
Programs cancelled with 30 days' or more notice will not be charged the program fee or cancellation fee
Cancellations with 8-29 days notice are subject to a fee of 50% of the program fee
Programs cancelled with less than 8 days notice, the full program fee will be charged
