Residents can petition to designate a neighbourhood green space as herbicide-free if 66% of immediately adjacent residents agree to the petition.
To initiate a petition please submit the online Initiator form or submit a hardcopy of the Initiator form. Once you have received confirmation of approval from the program coordinator for the proposed site you can print out a copy of the Herbicide Exemption Petition Form to collect the required signatures.
A Pesticide Exemption Program is also available for your own property.
