Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) play a crucial role in supporting the vibrancy, economic vitality and appeal of many of the City’s key commercial areas.
The Business Improvement Area Street and Alley Renewal Prioritization Program is part of an investment in the BIAs, funded by the Neighbourhoods and Goods Movement renewal profiles which were launched in December 2020. The goal of the project is to develop an effective process and criteria to prioritize and accelerate street and alley renewal within the BIAs.
